When you register as a Cathay Pacific CXagentsCanada member you provide your name,
address, telephone number, e-mail address, a unique login name, password and
other information. This information is collected on the registration form for
several reasons including: (i) personal identification; (ii) to allow us to
customize offers to meet your travel needs (iii) to allow us to contact you for
customer service, if necessary; and (iv) to make contact with you regarding
changes to our site. In addition, your e-mail address is collected to send you
an e-mail message confirming your new Cathay Pacific CXagentsCanada registration.
As a member you will occasionally receive updates from Cathay Pacific
about special offers and promotions. However, you may decline to receive
these e-mail messages by removing yourself from the Cathay Pacific
program by following the instructions shown below.

Members can choose to provide Cathay Pacific Airways with travel agency and
other personal information. This information is primarily used to assist members
in using the various offers and promotions we make available quickly without
having to re-type the same information.

Cathay Pacific's newsletter, the "Cathay Pacific eNews" is an
integral benefit that keeps you up to date with the latest special offers and
promotions. Your specific e-mail address is needed to deliver this information
to you.

Cookies
|

"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your
computer's hard drive. Cathay Pacific Airways uses cookies in several ways. We
use cookies to allow you to login without having to re-type your login name.
Instead, only your password is needed to access the system. We also use
cookies to track the effectiveness of various banner advertising campaigns to
determine which ads are most effective. Most Web browsers automatically
accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can edit your browser options to block
them in the future. We do not use cookies for the purpose of tracking or tracing
the use of our system.

IP Addresses

Cathay Pacific Airways collects IP addresses and other web browser provided
information collected at the time of registration to help diagnose problems with
our servers and for system administration and analysis.
Who will the information be shared with, if anyone? We do not sell individual
customer names, e-mail addresses or other private profile information to third
parties and have no intention of doing so in the future. Occasionally, Cathay
Pacific will hire a third party to act on our behalf for projects such as market
research surveys and contest entry processing, and will provide information to
these third parties specifically for use in connection with these projects. The
information we provide to such third parties is protected by a confidentiality
agreement and is to be used solely for the specific project. In the
event a Cathay Pacific marketing partner wishes to extend a special offer to
registered Cathay Pacific CXagentsCanada members, we
send the offer on behalf of the third party -- we do not provide them with your
e-mail address. See "What other

SPAM

Cathay Pacific Airways maintains a strict "no-spam" policy. Your
e-mail address will not be sold to a third party when you sign up as a Cathay Pacific
CXagentsCanada member.

Removal Policy

At anytime, you can remove yourself from the Cathay Pacific
program by visiting our removal page at http://www.cxagentscanada.com/cancel.asp.
When you supply your username and password, we'll permanently delete you from
the program. After such time, you'll receive no further e-mail messages from us
and will not be able to participate in any Cathay Pacific CXagentsCanada
offers or promotions.

How can you access, update or correct your information?

At any time, you can view and/or update your personal profile, which includes
member registration and travel preference information, by visiting http://www.cxagentscanada.com/update.asp and
supplying your username and password.

What other information should I know about my privacy?

The Cathay Pacific Travel Agent web site (www.cxagentscanada.com)
may contain links
to other web sites. Please note that when you click on one of these links, you
are entering another web site for which Cathay Pacific has no responsibility. We
encourage you to read the privacy statements of all such sites as their policies
may be materially different from Cathay Pacific's Privacy Statement. Further,
you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any
account information. Please be very careful, responsible, and alert with this
information whenever you're online. In addition to the circumstances
described above, Cathay Pacific may disclose member information if required
to do so by law, court order, as requested by other government or law
enforcement authority, or in the good faith belief that disclosure is otherwise
necessary or advisable including, without limitation, to protect the rights or
properties of Cathay Pacific Airways or The Swire Group or when we have reason
to believe that disclosing the information is necessary to identify, contact or
bring legal action against someone who may be causing interference with our
rights or properties, whether intentionally or otherwise, or when anyone else
could be harmed by such activities. Any material changes in the way Cathay
Pacific uses personal information will be described in future versions of this
Privacy Statement.
